(Part Time) Team Leader - Bristol
This vacancy is for 24 hours - flexibility to include weekdays, evenings, nights and weekends.
An industry leading logistics operation needs first class managers to lead and develop the people that make it happen. At Argos, the colleagues within our brand-new Local Fulfilment Centres are delivering that excellent service that we're famous for.
Playing a key role within the management team of our new Local Fulfilment Centre, reporting into the on-site Shift Manager, you will deliver great service to our customers through leadership of your teams within the warehouse or transport functions to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved with efficiency. You will have the ability to respond to customer demands and changes to volume in line with legal and budgetary requirements.
Ideally, you will have experience of a Warehouse or Retail operation and have the experience of leading a diverse team within a unionised environment. You will show effective decision making through strong communication and listening skills; be able to engage and motivate colleagues at all levels through effective performance management and coaching and drive a team culture where all colleagues understand and recognise how their actions impact service and business results.
You will be a role model for diversity and inclusion, encouraging all colleagues to be themselves at work, be a champion of our values, never missing an opportunity to recognise great performance and cheer on progress.
The centre is a 24-hour operation so there are various shift patterns available, including nights.
As part of the Sainsbury’s group, the career possibilities here are unparalleled, meaning that we can help you to drive your development in line with your own aspirations.
In addition to a competitive salary and an exciting working environment, other benefits include 30 days paid holiday, discretionary annual bonus, company pension scheme, 10% discount at Sainsbury’s, Argos, and Habitat (after 12 weeks), and lots more!
Interviews for these roles will be held between 22nd – 25th March.
We know that candidates may be put off applying for a job unless they can tick every box. We also know that ‘normal’ office hours aren’t always doable, and while we can’t accommodate every flexible working request we are happy to be asked. So if you are excited about working with us and think you can do much of what we are looking for but aren’t sure if you are 100% there yet… why not apply and see how it goes?
Here at Sainsbury’s Argos we’re a proud equal opportunities employer that values diversity at every level of our business.
