In a nutshell

Here at Argos Financial Services, we’re looking for brilliant people to join our inbound contact centre team. You’ll naturally enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and with support and training you’ll provide outstanding customer service. Through your knowledgeable and friendly approach, you’ll ensure excellent levels of service are consistently delivered, to build and develop long lasting relationships with our customers.

This is a permanent full-time role, working 35 hours a week. You must be flexible between the hours of 8am - 6pm Monday - Saturday and 10am - 6pm Sunday. You would need to be available to start 1st November 2021 for training.

What you’ll be doing

Assisting our customers with their Argos Card requirements, take ownership of their individual needs and deliver an exceptional customer experience
Playing an important part in customer education around My Argos Card digital services
Identifying customers who are in vulnerable situations and helping to figure out what steps we can take to support them.
Being the first point of contact for customer complaints to make sure that they're treated fairly and get the right resolution for them
Taking ownership of personal development and training, through regular review of performance against business objectives, and take responsibility for self-development

What skills you’ll need

Contact centre experience is helpful, but not essential. What we are really interested in is a genuine passion for going above and beyond for our customers in our Banking products and Online help desk
Demonstrate strong communication skills which will enable you to engage in effective conversations and deliver a personalised, friendly & efficient service
Have a passion for problem solving whilst showing empathy to our customers
Be resilient to a continuous changing environment and capabilities to embrace new ideas
Confident in navigating yourself around different systems and be PC literate
