Product Lifecycle Journey Analyst

In a nutshell

You’ll deliver operational comms and will be responsible for the establishment & maintenance of data-based controls. You’ll provide production support to the wider business, ensuring Argos Financial Services (AFS) continues to meet its obligations to customers and the FCA.

Your client base will be in numerous geographical locations, across various functions including the wider AFS Customer function, Finance, Operations, Argos Retail Trading and into Sainsbury’s Bank.

What you’ll be doing

Working with the wider Database team to build robust SQL processes, to support day-to-day running of production processes.
By following a robust internal framework, you’ll deliver essential operational comms to our customers, ensuring a seamless journey throughout their lifecycle with our AFS products.
Using your own knowledge as well as the experience of the team, you’ll devise the best approach to answer complex business requests. You’ll take on the perspective of the customer and question the initial request, determining if further value can be added through a broadening of the original scope.
You’ll have day-to-day ownership of AFS remediation exercises, dealing with the running & maintenance of redress calculations. You’ll be supporting operational processes, through to customer comms selections.
You will be central to discussions around identifying populations requiring contact or remediation, guiding AFS stakeholders as to what is possible with the data available.
Developing, maintaining and embedding rigorous QA processes to ensure all customer selections are compliant and in line with campaign remit.
Defining, building & maintaining robust, timely MI upon receipt of requests. You’ll demonstrate that our products & services are working in the way our customers expect, highlighting instances where that isn’t the case.
Proactively identifying gaps in existing MI & building monitoring for visibility and control. You’ll recommend new MI to AFS stakeholders, using creativity to produce accurate, robust and powerful controls monitoring.
Mentoring and developing production Analysts within the team.
Building long-term collaborative engagement with other key stakeholders from within the business, at various levels of seniority.

What you need to know and show

Experience in a data-driven Analyst role.
Experience with SQL and proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and more advanced Formulae.
Ability to identify and spot opportunities, taking steps to drive continuous performance and present key recommendations to stakeholders.
Awareness of data governance and relevant compliance processes.
Be able to not shy away from a challenge, to persevere until the correct outcome is achieved and delivered for our customers.
