Customer Service Advisor - Financial Services

In a nutshell

Here at Argos Financial Services, we’re looking for brilliant people to join our inbound contact centre team. You’ll naturally enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and with support and training you’ll provide outstanding customer service. Through your knowledgeable and friendly approach, you’ll ensure excellent levels of service are consistently delivered, to build and develop long lasting relationships with our customers.

This is a permanent full-time role, working 35 hours a week. You must be flexible between the hours of 8am - 8pm Monday - Saturday and 10am - 6pm Sunday.

What you’ll be doing

Answering inbound calls from customers relating to any aspect of their account with us
The first point of contact, ensuring you solve all queries efficiently and effectively for each customer
Confidently dealing with customer complaints, delivering resolutions and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout
Recognising and identifying vulnerable customers and dealing with these appropriately
Working with colleagues across the wider business to provide outstanding customer service and customer satisfaction at all times
Solving complex queries, providing accurate information using the tools available
Recording all customer transactions in accordance with the Data Protection Act

What skills you’ll need

Ideally contact centre experience
Strong Customer focus
Good communication skills with a professional telephone manner
A friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to work in a team environment
Computer literate with an ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Be able to multi task and manage time effectively
Self-motivated, flexible and open to change

As well as the opportunity to join a great team you will also receive £9.33 per hour, 23 days holiday, discount at Argos, Sainsbury’s and Habitat, as well a range of other great benefits. You would need to be available to start at the beginning of November, for a 7 week training programme.
