As a Senior Business Analyst, you will provide expertise to the Argos Financial Services (AFS) Change function in support of the business change portfolio of programmes and projects. Your core role will be to provide Business Analysis capability by role modelling best practice and supporting effective delivery of our business change plans.
Every project that is delivered is impacting our customer in some way, part of the Senior Business Analyst role is to confirm and document those impacts and update them throughout the lifecycle of projects if they change.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
Proactively build excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders, including at Executive level.
Be responsible for the effective collating and documenting of user requirements, achieved through conducting interviews, facilitating workshops and researching data.
Manage business requirements by creating and maintain BRDs, requirements catalogues and traceability matrices.
Take a flexible approach to requirements documenting them in either statement or user story format.
Employ MS Visio to create and verify business processes, communicating these to all relevant stakeholders.
Assist the business in the development of ideas, developing benefits cases and ensuring any desired changes support the overall business strategy.
Assist in building the reputation of the Change function by building confidence in the Change capability.
Work closely with all project related colleagues, such as Programme Managers, Project Managers, Business Architects, Technical delivery managers, Test teams and PMO to ensure full support of deliverables for programmes and projects.
Proactively manage and escalate any concerns.
Ensure business analysis practices are managed in line with the Risk Management Framework.
Ensure all stakeholders are aware of their role and expectations throughout the projects and how they can support the Business Analysis function.
Plan and manage the communication of any changes internally and externally where appropriate, including communicating with external suppliers.
Support Business Analysts within AFS and work with Sainsbury’s Bank to ensure alignment of best practices and methodologies between the businesses.
Have an awareness of business strategy and its links to business change for AFS to ensure continual consideration of longer term business objectives is given when working on programmes and projects.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have:
Experience in a Business Analysis role in a Financial Services organisation.
The ability to capture clear and measurable and testable requirements.
Experience of managing multiple projects in a demanding environment whilst retaining a focus on priorities.
The ability to effectively design, lead and facilitate workshops and meetings to support business analysis requirements.
Experience of effective Stakeholder Management across a variety of sites, including the proactive initiating and maintenance of those relationships.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
The confidence to challenge existing process and practises where change is occurring.
