As a Customer Service Advisor in the Financial Services Card Services department you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, dealing with inbound queries in relation to the Argos Store Card and solving any problems, taking payments and amending customer details. You’ll provide information on products and services and will work as part of a team by supporting your colleagues.
You will be working 35 hours per week on a fully flexible shift pattern within our opening hours, which are Monday – Saturday 8am- 8pm and Sunday 10am-6pm. This role will involve working a variety of hours including, mornings, evenings and weekends.

As Customer Service Advisor, you will –
Receive inbound contacts from customers
Reply to all correspondence from customers and third parties, ensuring a fair outcome, while achieving all regulatory requirements
Accurately record all customer transactions / interactions, and in line with Data Protection Act guidelines, updating information where necessary
Educate the customer about the benefits of ensuring payments are made and are up to date and provide suitable payment options
Undertake other telephony or admin duties to support within the FS department as necessary
As Customer Service Advisor, you will have –
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Customer service experience, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and accurate attention to detail.
The ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
Able to work with little or no supervision, and have confidence when dealing with difficult situations
