Sales Support Executive

We are currently looking for a Sales Support Executive to join our Argos For Business team focusing on the retention and growth of new and existing B2B Merchandise client relationships, delivering 2 key metrics, Sales and Profit.

The individual will execute the planning and delivery of a sales strategy by proactively identifying new clients and market sales opportunities. It is envisaged 80% of the time will be spent supporting and desktop managing existing clients and sales opportunities, whilst 20% of time will be spent identifying, contacting and winning sales from new opportunities.

The ideal individual, will utilise their previous sales experience, be outcome driven and motivated to achieve both individual a team targets.

What I need to do

Desktop manage a segment of existing clients becoming the key contact and face of B2B Merchandise
Maintain and grow sales from the client segment, identifying opportunities in line with the Sales Strategy
Reviewing processes to understand opportunities for cost savings and customer journey improvements
Support all new business sales activities as required
Deliver analysis of client and segment level performance to plan and implement retention and growth
Ensure performance of client’s sales, Profitability and Service are performing to expectation
Take ownership to ensure all new clients are onboarded in line with SLA’s and through Argos For Business standard propositions
Attend review meetings, when required with clients to drive value and efficiencies
Gain a high-level knowledge base of all products within Argos For Business portfolio
Maximise all New Business opportunities available to Argos For Business by building relationships with the client and feeding leads or opportunities to either the New or Existing Sales Managers
Fully support the Sales and Marketing Management team and Service Operations Teams to provide a high level of service across all elements of Argos For Business
Drive client satisfaction by working together with all Argos For Business departments and our Sales Channel to communicate and report on any issues on an on-going basis and where appropriate participate in their resolution
Establish and drive a culture of continuous improvement, constantly developing processes and procedures that drive a great first-time resolution, great client and people experience and reducing operational costs
Act as a point of escalation for both clients and the Contact Management Center
Collaborate and support all Argos For Business teams, providing cover and cross functional workings
Gain a High-Level working knowledge of all products within the Argos For Business product portfolio

What I need to know

Develop strong relationships with B2B clients to provide support on all aspects of the relationship
Provide first class desktop account management and delivery of new business sales opportunities
Provide ongoing support to B2B client’s activities by providing full end to end ownership of any query
Attend client review meetings when required
Maximise all new business opportunities available to Argos For Business by building relationships with the client and feeding any leads or opportunities to the New Business Team. Cross departmental opportunities must be identified and transitioned to the relevant teams as required
Identify opportunities to gain market advantage and increased market share from our competitors
Fully support the Sales & Marketing Management team and Service Operations Teams
Drive customer satisfaction by working together with all Argos For Business and Argos departments
Establish and drive a culture of continuous improvement
·Demonstrate credibility with a range of stakeholders, displaying a broad range of influencing styles
Drive and determination to own clients, sales and queries
Deliver with passion and pace
A drive and determination to succeed, with a focus on customer outcomes
Understanding of clients, sectors and our competitors
