The Reporting & Forecasting team provides a key link between the various business partnering and FP&A teams across the business to create budgets, forecasts and strategic plan.
As an Accounting and Reporting Analyst, you’ll support and drive the execution of standard period-end transactions (including period-end transactions and journals) in conjunction with the finance business partner teams. You’ll also help us to thrive by identifying and evaluating opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes across a range of business areas.

Execute standard period-end transactions and journals in the core finance system submitting outputs to the Accounting & Reporting Manager for review
Produce and Develop standardised reporting suites for Business Partnering teams to support the continuous drive of business results
To own and drive the delivery of period-end results to the agreed deadlines and standards - Ensuring that the results are communicated in a timely and accurate way with a clear articulation of the drivers of performance and impacts
Ensure that the appropriate control mechanisms are in place and followed
Support external audit preparation
Support the delivery of Finance improvement initiatives and implementation of internal & external best practices to enhance process efficiency and quality of outputs
More about you:
Have or be studying towards a professional accounting qualification
Experience of working with and presenting analytical results to Finance and Non-Finance users
Strong analytical skills, Excel & Access skills and attention to detail
Good accounting knowledge with balance sheet experience
Has an interest in the financial reports generated, demonstrating perseverance and curiosity when justifying the financial position.
