The Information Systems Finance team partners the Chief Technology Officer and the Information Systems leadership team to drive effective and informed commercial decision-making to maximise value creation and efficiency of Information Systems-related initiatives.
As an IS Finance Analyst, you’ll drive the performance of Information Systems by providing integral financial information to the relevant investment forums and deliver timely forecasting, analysis and performance commentary. To do this, you’ll need to be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders & build trusted relationships.

Provide business partnering and decision support to the Technology leadership teal
P&L analysis supporting the Accounting and reporting arm of the team
IS Finance governance and policy adherence
Advisory evaluation and application of relevant accounting policies e.g. labour capitalisation
Evaluate accounting implications of IS investment and potential impairment risk
Deliver timely day-to-day reporting, planning, budgeting & forecasting for Information Systems with guidance from the Information Systems Manager including:
Provide commentary and insight on the IS cost base
Complete management actions and explanation of performance for period end
Capital & Opex planning, forecasting and liaison with FP&A and Group Capital teams
Support for contract renewals and renegotiations
Train the Information Systems team and develop their awareness of finance matters
More about you:
Qualified accountant with indicative 0-3 post-qualification experience (or studying towards a professional accounting qualification)
Frameworks associated with governance and investment criteria in a large organisation
Ideally have a practical understanding of evolving IS project management methodologies i.e. Agile project development
Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner
Strong analytical skills, Excel skills and attention to detail
Experience in a business-facing Finance role
