As the Acquisition Marketing Manager, you will develop a commercial advantage for Argos Financial Services through the proactive acquisition of credit and product care customers. You will be commercially responsible for acquisition activity to the prospect base, across all media, digital and traditional channels and for the development of new campaigns in relation to Sainsbury’s Argos retail sales. In this role, you’ll report into the Senior Marketing Manager.
You will coordinate and produce marketing collateral, messages and web comms, you will also own processes and manage activities that are central to the AFS customer acquisition journey that can affect the overall customer experience.

As Acquisition Marketing Manager, you will;
Produce marketing and support material and content for credit and product care across all media, digital and traditional channels, within budget and to agreed timescales.
Represent the AFS customer journey interests in any conversations on key issues such as content space allocations for catalogues, web journey and space discussions.
Manage and work collaboratively with the multimedia, marketing, publications and new media stakeholders within Argos, to ensure credit and product care are appropriately promoted in all internal media including print, digital, videos, TV and press, stores, web, transformation/liberation, PPC, affiliates and retargeting.
Provide first line sign off support for credit and product care for Argos retail teams, working with Compliance for any future interpretations of regulations and provide that guidance to the wider AFS and to retail teams via briefings and regular sign off processes.
Provide training to retail teams on the requirements for both card and product care, to ensure we maximize the benefit and remain legally compliant.
Coordinate the budget and purchase order process, marketing spend tracking, invoice liaising and maintain commitment log across all AFS Marketing campaigns. You’ll review spend when necessary with Senior Marketing Manager.
Support the AFS field team with creative content for training, presentations, videos or content for presentation screens instore or online.
Provide marketing support to credit and product care, as part of the strategic plan and as set by the Senior Marketing Manager.
Be responsible for implementing the recruitment credit plans across the two main channels of commerce for AFS (stores and digital).
Be responsible for the marketing processes in relation to the customer’s AFS onboarding experience.
Output the plan to complement, enhance and build upon the retailer’s promotional campaigns.
Provide support as needed to Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing leadership team.
As Acquisition Marketing Manager, you will have;
At least two years’ experience of marketing planning and deployment.
Experience of working with customer acquisition models.
Experience of campaign MI gathering and interpretation across multiple marketing channels.
An understanding of digital commercial drivers and ROI measurement.
Detailed knowledge of direct mail, email, app and web page deployment processes.
Knowledge of working within a regulated environment preferably with FCA regulations.
Knowledge of big data usage and micro segmentation.
Outstanding creative and evaluation skills.
A good level of commercial acumen.
A proven ability to work under tight deadlines and provide results to multiple stakeholders.
The ability to work on own initiative.
The ability to network and stakeholder manage across a range of stakeholders in a range of roles, working at a range of levels.
Excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
A positive mindset and an ability to coach lower levels.
