We are currently looking for a Gift Card Operations Manager to join our Argos for Business team. You will own all elements of Argos Gifting, including;
Argos Consumer Gift Card – in-store, online and marketing
B2B Gift Card
Multi Retailer Voucher cards and paper
Marketing Promotional Vouchers
Gift Card Mall Gift Cards
We will need you to consolidate all operational elements of Gifting for all areas of Argos in to one single team. Historically operational elements of Gifting have either had fractured ownership or no ownership at all, so we will be looking to you to capture all operational elements known and unknown, document fully, and deliver an operational management, process and reporting structure.
Most importantly we will need you to ensure that Argos Gifting operates smoothly for both our business and the consumer by owning and managing relationships with any relevant Gift Card suppliers.
You will have full control over operational costs and through a project of continuous improvement, we will look to you to identify, own and drive operational efficiencies and cost savings.
The outcome will be a high performing, automated, low cost gift card operations team, emerging to become the key to driving a step change in growth and engagement with Gifting products across Argos retail and B2B.
As a Gift Card Operations Manager your responsibilities will be:
B2B Gift Card
Define, create and maintain the documentation of all current operational processes relating to Gifting within Argos B2B
Review and rate the performance of current operational processes, prioritise improvements in to a transformation plan focussing on the control and understanding of costs.
Continually review processes to understand opportunities for cost savings and customer journey improvements
Gift Card Malls
Continual review and ensure Gift Card placement within malls is sufficient for our brand
Define the opportunities for additional placement and promotions, reviewing against commercials to understand return on investment
Consumer Gift Cards
Define, create and maintain the documentation of all current operational processes relating to Gifting within consumer businesses
Drive the sales and marketing of the consumer Gift Card through the relevant stakeholder engagement
Multi Retailer Vouchers
Manage and maintain the store acceptance procedures for Multi Retailer Gift Vouchers
Working with Shrinkage and Compliance look to reduce the % of fraud acceptance within Multi Retailer Vouchers to reduce business losses
Marketing / Promotional Gift Cards
Create and maintain the documentation of all current operational processes relating to Gift Cards being used within Marketing / Promotional campaigns across the business
Review and rate the performance of current operational processes, prioritise improvements in to a transformation plan working with marketing to meet their needs and ensuring this improves customer journey and promotional offerings
How you will succeed:
Process re-alignment to the automated digital strategy for Gifting
Physical card usage under control, wastage reduced or removed, volumes trackable by channel and store – aligned to sales trends
Gifting understood throughout Argos channels, with Gift card consistently playing a part in Argos Trading, Marketing and Customer Service strategies
Migrate all B2B client ordering to a self-service solution within 12 months, driving improved client experience and reducing operating cost
Cost and service effective management of 3rd Party Fulfilment Supplier
Effective visual marketing and placement of the Gift Card product
