The Argos Media Business is responsible for a revenue stream into Argos by creating omni – channel campaigns and utilising new technologies to monetise digital platforms. We work with brands to create targeted and inspirational content for our customer’s objectives which generates interest, awareness and/or sales for their products and brand.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity as an Ad Operations Manager to work in a hugely successful department for a digital retail leader with serious ambition!
We are looking for a bright and ambitious highly specialised Ad Operations Manager to develop, implement and grow our ad media within the Media Business
Responsible for supporting the advertising operations of the Argos’ business, executing efficient operational processes that deliver multiple commercial solutions and advertising programs.
Joining a small yet dynamic team, input will be essential to our future growth utilising your expertise to guide the team, business and clients to achieve optimal set up of all ad technology platforms.
What I need to do
•Trafficking, implementing & reporting on campaigns via google DFP for client & adx bookings.
•Implementation of Criteo private markets client bookings.
•Investigate and examine technologies and get the best of them, use developer tools and able to converse with technical teams in their language on new opportunities.
•Provide reports for forward sales planning, including inventory forecasting and providing performance analysis to support strategic decision making.
•Educate the sales team and wider business in a straightforward manner on application and benefits of monetisation of media - providing knowledge and training.
•Astute relationship management, including influencing and excellent interpersonal skills required both across the breadth of the Sainsbury’s Argos business including: Marketing, Digital Marketing, digital Development and Commercial functions as well as externally.
•Be an expert, leader and champion in ad operations best practice. Keeping abreast of emerging technologies, making recommendations’ and incorporating into future plans.

What I need to know
• Highly proficient in knowledge of ad serving technology and managing multiple digital campaigns and understanding of programmatic landscape
•Excellent project management, technical knowledge and experience with technologies specifically DFP
•Ability to think creatively through both customer and commercial lenses to deliver market beating plans
•Comfortable working with ambiguity, changing situations and stretching targets.
•High level of resilience and tenacity required – must be able to deal with challenge from across the business whilst maintaining a positive and proactive style
•Drive and passion that is infectious - delivering as an individual as well as motivating within the broader team to deliver stretching sales targets
•Attention to detail & proficiency with Excel
•Problem solving and analytical skills
•You may have come from a development background or have learnt on the job to be able to look at how technologies work and support investigations to identify root cause issues
•Good understanding of the Google tech stack including DBM
