We are looking for customer centric and passionate individuals to join our fabulous teams based within our Customer Management Centre in Acton Gate, Stafford. Working via the Live Chat system you will support and work towards the vision and strategy of Sainsbury’s Argos, taking on the role of personal shopper to upsell, maximise revenue opportunity and delight our customers. You will deliver superb customer experiences in order to influence the growth of the business via a Sales Through Service culture.
As a Live Chat Customer Agent you will;
Have strong skills in engaging and building rapport rapidly with customers by actively listening and effective questioning to truly understand the customer needs
Take ownership and pride in every contact to ensure every single customer receives the highest level of service at all times
Deal with any customer query or concerns personally, in a positive and respectful manner throughout the whole customer journey
Recognise and be confident in taking advantage of appropriate opportunities to add value to the customer and the business through great conversations (cross sell, up sell, add on)
Drive your own performance to achieve individual and team business KPI’s and objectives, whilst protecting our customers by striving for strong compliance results in a regulated environment
Take personal ownership for your own self-development by actively seeking learning opportunities
Actively support any business change & initiatives with pace and be passionate about sharing best practice so the sales department benefits as a whole

This role is initially for a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be working 30 hours per week on a variety of flexible shift patterns (between 7am and 10pm) which will include some weekend working. Our Customer Management Centre is based in Acton Gate, Stafford (ST18 9AR) just off junction 13 on the M6 motorway.
