What you’ll be doing
The Fulfilment Centre Service Manager (days or lates) will manage and lead a high performing team, in order to provide a customer centric culture within the Fulfilment Centre. With clear expectations and excellent leadership skills they will inspire, motivate and empower colleagues to realise their potential and deliver business success in an ever-evolving multi-channel retail environment. Assumes total responsibility for the whole stock operation within the Fulfilment Centre. Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met at all times, supporting delivery of KPIs and ensuring exceptional internal stockroom standards are met. Supports fulfilment service in absence of Resource Manager and/or Fulfilment Centre Operations Manager.
The RFC is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week so you will need to have the flexibility to cover rotas across our operating hours. This role will cover either the days or lates shift as follows:
Rotating shifts……….6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm till 6am

Additionally, you will also:
Through great leadership you will be responsible for the effective and smooth start to end stock operation in the Fulfilment Centre, through great leadership
Ensure compliance for anyone to all Health and Safety standards and legal requirements are met.
Monitor, evaluate and review daily workload, stock volume, demand and activities, taking appropriate action to ensure Customer and Fulfilment Centre targets and deadlines are met.
Ensure high standards in all stockroom processes. Ensuring actions to minimise stock loss through effective control process and security measures.
Work co-operatively with others, creating and maintaining a team spirit and clear communications within and across the site to achieve a common goal.
Continually improve departmental performance on a regular basis in line with business requirements and within existing structures and frameworks.
Create a positive environment, coaching and developing their people to be the best they can be, utilising the performance management and talent development tools available.
Ensure the tools and processes available are utilised to recruit new colleagues who meet the required attributes described by the company.
Ensure resources are managed within the Fulfilment Centre resource plan to enable the effective operation of then Centre to deliver great standards of customer service.
