Studio Manager

We are looking for an experienced Studio Manager to join the brand-new Studio for TU clothing. This role not only offers the opportunity to lead a brand new, state of the art, fashion studio but also as the first role we are recruiting you will have the opportunity to shape the team that you will be managing. This brand-new studio will be using styleshoot photographic/video machines and will offer a very new approach to retail fashion content.

As a Studio Manager, your role would be to manage all production aspects of the Fashion Studio for TU online content. To manage both the Photo, Video and Production workflows through the studio, ensuring the studio is running efficiently and within the KPI’s and SLA’s set. To manage the teams and ensure they are hitting daily/weekly and monthly targets. Ensuring that we are hitting our briefs and deadlines whilst maintaining loyal to brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for line management of all studio team members including a photographer, stylists, floor coordinators, copywriters and post production. Also, responsible for any freelance production crew used on projects.
You will work closely with the production team and wider content teams contributing to a positive and professional team ethos.
Build and maintain honest, trusting and collaborative relationships both internally within Bedford Studio and with wider business stakeholders.
Maintain a high standard of technical skill, creative ability and team development within the studio, using own skill and experience to develop member where needed using coaching or mentoring techniques.

Your talent showcase:

You will have proven experience of working as a Studio Manager within a photographic, video studio as well as strong management skills.

Key skills include:

Expertise in working with Mac-based content editing software
Keen eye for detail in both written (copy) and visual work
Proven experience in studio production and/or taking a project from start to finish, be small or large-scale productions
Passion for Fashion content and the desire to move an exciting and busy department forward
Experience managing a budget
Ability to make informed, decisive decisions
Experience working with styleshoot photographic machinery is desirable
Advanced knowledge and technical background in photography or Video
