Senior Digital Implementation Manager

Right now, our outstanding digital team is on the hunt for a a Senior Digital Implementation Manager to lead a team of Digital Implementation experts, accountable for the implementation of digital executions across all digital channels (Web/Mobile/Apps/Digital Store Browser). You will work closely with the Digital Trading & Content teams to ensure the commercial targets for Digital Operations are achieved and establish strong and robust ways of working with stakeholders outside of Digital where necessary e.g. Brand Marketing, Marketing Promotions, Financial Services.

As you would expect from a business the size of Argos, no 2 days tend to be the same however some of the key objectives for this role will be

Help establish ways of working within Digital Trading & Content Teams and wider business functions to enable a smooth delivery of digital implementation requirements.

Establish strong ways of working and processes that deliver against agreed targets and metrics.
Ensure strong communication processes are in place with the Digital Design teams, Digital Testing teams and Digital Trading & Content teams to ensure digital implementation requirements are are agreed and understood (e.g. BAU Assets, New Static Pages, and Supplier Shops etc.).
Key point of contact to lead and participate within post implementation review activities with relevant teams across the business

Ensure strong ways of working and processes exist between all the functions and teams within the digital trading and content structure.
Act as senior project lead where needed on key digital projects that will require customer facing executions.

Ensure there is a clear understanding of upcoming work and projects that require digital delivery through the Implementation Team, and future changes to ways of working.

Ensure there is an understanding of priorities and timelines from Digital Trading & Content Teams and Promotions Teams in order to ensure implications are understood and appropriate workload is planned and delivered to a high standard.

Work with other teams around the business to understand systems and developments that will have an impact on the Implementation team for example automated pricing, promotions engine, TSI pricing implications, Websphere developments, UX initiatives, innovation trials and initiatives, Financial Services etc
Work closely with the Digital Trading Development Manager and the DDI Workflow Manager to ensure any training or implementation requirements from development activities are included within the overall department plan.

Play a leadership role within the digital trading, merchandising and content team

Play an active role in business and development communications across the wider team.

Lead, coach & develop the team ensuring they understand the overall digital strategy along with their part in achieving the strategy.
Ensure appropriate training needs are identified to support the development of team individuals and processes.
Recruit and retain a highly skilled team. Ensure an appropriate ‘pipe line’ of talent and succession plan is established.
Be a visible leader across the wider Digital trading function.
