The Business Protection Team is part of Finance structure and provides proactive support to mitigate operational risk and reduce losses to help maximise profits. The Team focus on the provision of Insight, Assurance and Innovation whilst Protecting our brand, customers and colleagues from crime and the threat of crime.
The Transform Team are responsible for the identification, assessment and mitigation of current, strategic and emerging/new risks. Bringing innovative thinking and flexible solutions with a focus on risk and loss to maximise Business profit. Providing an independent view of risks and identifying solutions to support commercial decision making and new Business Initiatives enhancing the customer shopping experience.

The role of the Senior Risk Solutions Manager is central to the delivery of large scale projects which provide solutions to current, strategic and emerging risks across the business, thereby helping to maximise profit. The role plays a lead to the identification of significant risk, loss to the business as well as the identification of solutions, engagement and buy in from impacted stakeholders and decision makers as well as any implementation of solution and follow up. A key accountability of this role is the end to end ownership of projects assigned.
What I need to do:
Responsibility for all large risk based projects end-to-end within your project team.
Identifying risks, reasons for change, business benefits and then scoping and recommending solutions.
Partnering and working with a broad base of stakeholders to define, trial and ultimately roll out solutions to reduce or mitigate risk.
Responsible and accountable for providing insight and commentary to stakeholders regarding risk and loss along with root cause and opportunities to reduce, remove, mitigate.
Responsible for pro-actively managing relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Playing a key role in the timely delivery of the Team Strategic objectives.
Contribute to the development of the team through coaching and mentoring.

What I need to know:
Previous experience leading large and complex projects / significant involvement in large projects end to end.
Broad business partnering experience, e.g. across retail/supply, to understand how risk impacts across business areas.
Ability to analysis data to provide and present insight in an engaging and clear manner, being able to deal with challenge data analysis.
Strong leadership qualities to deliver large projects and influence stakeholders appropriately.
Significant experience in identifying risks and opportunities along with ability to propose business case benefits.
Experience of Business partnering across senior Business leaders (Stakeholders).
Significant experience of managing large stakeholder groups.
Risk management background.
