We are looking for a Risk Analyst to support our IT Risk Manager in ensuring that IT Controls are in place in accordance with the best practise standards and guidelines within the regulatory requirements of the business.

What you’ll be doing

* Develop and maintain the AFS IT Control Framework artefacts, including presentation online using the collaboration tool selected to track validation, compliance, issues and actions follow-up with designated owners
* Provide timely and accurate reports for use by senior IT and business stakeholders to support regulatory compliance objectives and reporting requirements
* Maintain an awareness of the regulatory environment as it applies to AFS and highlight to the IT Risk Manager (FS) any changes that may need to be applied to the IT Control Framework in place
* Liaise with business colleagues, and group risk, group audit and the Sainsbury’s Argos Cyber Security team and other functions, to ensure an appropriate exchange of knowledge and information is maintained with respect to the IT Control Framework in place
* Support colleagues to ensure that all appropriate AFS IT risks are recorded, monitored, tested, regularly reviewed and reassessed to ensure adequate controls are in place
* Undertake specific outcome testing and risk and control reviews across the Group IT function and external suppliers to ensure compliance, as directed by the IT Risk Manager (FS)

You

* Experience working in an IT Risk Management role previously
* Understanding of Financial Services
* Ideally experience working within a Financial Services organisation
* Detailed understanding of risk management tools and techniques
* Take personal ownership of your work, but able to ask for support where required
* Maintain good relationships with internal peers and colleagues
* Ability to build credibility with stakeholders and colleagues
