As Senior Marketing Manager, you will develop a commercial advantage for Argos Financial Services through the proactive acquisition of credit and product care customers. You will be commercially responsible for acquisition activity to the prospect base (across all media, digital and traditional channels) and for the development of new campaigns in relation to Sainsbury’s Argos retail sales.

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will:
Provide marketing support to credit and product care, as part of the strategic plan.
Be responsible for planning, agreeing and implementing the recruitment and exposure of credit plans in the two main channels of commerce for both areas (stores and digital).
Own the customer’s AFS onboarding experience.
Structure the plan to complement, enhance and build upon the retailer’s promotional campaigns
Influence, manage and work collaboratively with the multimedia, marketing, publications and new media stakeholders within Argos, to ensure credit and product care are appropriately promoted in all internal media – inc print, digital, videos, TV and press, stores, web, transformation/ liberation, PPC, affiliates, retargeting etc.
Provide 1st line sign off of creative for credit and product care for Argos retail teams, working with Compliance for any future interpretations of regulations and provide that guidance to the wider FS and to retail teams via briefings and regular sign off processes.
Provide training as necessary to retail teams on the requirements for both card and product care, to ensure we maximize the benefit and remain legally compliant.
Competitor Monitoring for credit and product care. Provide research / analysis to the wider FS team on the offer and the execution of competitor offers – feedback useful recommendations to the business about market and what the businesses response should be.
To manage the budget and purchase order process, marketing spend tracking, invoice liaison and maintain commitment log across all FS Marketing campaigns. Review spend when necessary with Head of Direct Marketing.
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will have;
At least four years’ experience of direct marketing planning and deployment.
Line Management responsibility.
Experience of working with customer segmentation and propensity models.
Financial Services marketing experience including FCA or regulated environment.
Experience of working in a retail based organisation.
Must be able to provide evidence of copy writing experience.
An understanding of digital commercial drivers and ROI measurement.
Demonstrable experience of budget management in order to influence business decisions.
Experience of working within a small team.
