As a Financial Crime Operations Team Manager, you will supervise, motivate and lead a team of Financial Crime advisors to achieve the highest standards of customer service, key performance indicators and operating practises within a Financial Services environment. You’ll ensure all interactions are handled in a professional manner to ensure fair outcomes for customers.

We are offering a permanent position at our contact centre Widnes, offering 35 hours a week on a fixed shift pattern, working between the hours of 8am – 8pm Monday – Saturday.
As a Financial Crime Operations Team Manager you will:
Plan and manage resources and work allocation of the team to ensure that all divisional and departmental objectives are met
Ensure Financial Crime policies & procedures are adhered to at all times through quality assessment and independent review
Engage and collaborate with the Financial Crime SME where skills/training/procedure gaps are identified to deliver sustainable compliant solutions, which put the customer first
Analyse MI reporting and provide regular update to Senior Fraud & Underwriting Manager
Provide direct reports the skills and capabilities to deliver against agreed departmental targets
Play an instrumental role in delivering and driving through the change agenda
Plan and prioritise activities within the department working closely with other customer service leaders and departments
As a Financial Crime Operations Team Manager you will have:
A good level of knowledge around, Financial Crime, Fraud & Underwriting, Financial Services and the policies and procedures for effective management of accounts and applications.
Excellent communication skills - both verbal & written, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes
Previous experience of leading Team Managers in a contact centre environment
Previous working experience in a regulated Financial Services environment
High levels of energy, drive and self-motivation
Must have ability to remain calm under pressure and not lose sight of the goals
Able to make logical decisions based on facts and experience, acting in the best interests of the Company and its customers
Able to coach and develop others using subject matter expertise where required
