Supply Chain Assurance Manager

As a Supply Chain Assurance Manager you will be responsible for managing our third parties in order to meet regulatory compliance standards. You will lead the auditing of third parties and onsite visits by assessing and validating systems and controls and provide compliance and regulatory assurance to the business. This is a 12-month fixed term contract within our Financial Services business based at our office in Widnes.

We are part of the Sainsbury's Argos group, and this role reports into the Supply Chain Assurance team within Sainsbury's Bank.

As Supply Chain Assurance Manager you will:

Use the risk and compliance framework to assess and validate controls at third parties.
Provide the Head of Supply Chain Assurance with assurance that all activities and business areas comply with all requirements set out by the FCA and that Third Party Management risks are captured, monitoring and escalated appropriately and effectively.
Hold and lead Audit Reviews with each third party to review activity and agree action plans and remediation plans.
Be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating any thematic reviews, managing and maintaining the Risk Log and risk assessment and conduct review.
Incorporate changes to regulation and compliance by performing regular assessments to demonstrate how the business meets Regulatory compliance standards.
Own the Third Party Management Compliance and Audit reporting.
Embed a culture of compliance and risk.
Drive a risk based approach to Relationship Management meeting compliance and regulatory expectations.

As Supply Chain Assurance Manager you will have:

3 years or more in a Financial Services third party management or compliance role, operating at a Management level.
Worked in an regulated environment.
Experience of influencing third party providers.
Evidence of working through compliance programmes.
Experience of risk management of customer facing environment.
The ability to create and build a culture of compliance and to provide clear, honest feedback if compliance is not operating effectively. Set the standard for what is right in compliance and risk.
