As a Credit Risk Supplier Manager, you will manage the Credit Risk Collections and Recoveries suppliers to ensure that the work they undertake on behalf of Argos Financial Services has a positive impact on the profitability and security of the store card business. You will ensure this through the effective performance and relationship management of suppliers and their implementation of agreed strategies and processes.

As Credit Risk Supplier Manager, you will:
Monitor, evaluate and analyse all aspects of the suppliers and clearly communicate results, conclusions and recommendations for improvements to senior management.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships with a clear emphasis on compliance, profitability and maintaining the ethos of continuous improvement.
Identify and effectively manage risks and opportunities with suppliers.
Use profitability analysis and champion/challenger testing to refine and optimize Debt Recovery and Debt Sale processes and strategies.
Ensure that regular supplier management meetings take place in line with the Sainsbury’s Bank supplier management framework and supplier tiering.
As Credit Risk Supplier Manager, you will have:
Broad supplier relationship management experience within complex corporate environments.
Proven track record of successfully overseeing large, multi-faceted, suppliers with evidence of financial benefit delivery and innovation.
Experience of working in an FCA regulated Financial Services environment.
Proven data interpretation skills and the ability to present complex findings in a simple format to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience of Debt Recovery and Debt Sale techniques and methodologies.
