As the Credit Risk MI Analyst, you will develop and maintain Credit Risk specific MI with focus on IFRS9 provision modelling and calculation.

As Credit Risk MI Analyst, you will:
Positively impact the overall profitability and security of the store card business through effective reporting and performance analytics of the arrears portfolio.
Support the Credit Risk MI Manager in regular MI delivery and commentary for the bad debt forum and the provision adequacy forum in Argos Financial Services.
Assist with reviews of accounts and balances.
For each month end, ensure distributions and populations are checked for consistency and alignment with TSYS/Probe data.
Your role will also support the integration of IFRS9 accounting standard across Collections and Recoveries. Your support will include, but not be limited to;
Assisting with the creation of a Credit Provisioning forum separate from the Bad Debt forum to focus on IFRS9 output and perform ad hoc manual runs and manual loads of IFRS9 models as required.
Identifying and effectively communicating risks and opportunities in IFRS9 provisioning and credit risk reporting.
Modelling ECL output to understand which tranche or vintage of accounts drives arrears and provisions.
Running model reports and producing output in a form that Finance can use to reconcile to past IAS39 incurred basis provisions and that Credit Risk can use to compare to current Credit Risk reporting formats, both to be done in conjunction with Experian.
Supporting the flexing of models to enable economic variables to be assessed and adjusted as needed.
Supporting the Parallel Run in terms of both testing and the transition to live.
As Credit Risk MI Analyst, you will have:
Experience of producing reports, Management Information or data analysis.
Strong data interpretation skills including data manipulation and presentation of complex findings in a simple format to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong SQL skills, with the ability to build new & edit existing SQL reports.
