In a nutshell, this role provides training and support for Sainsbury’s Clothing & General Merchandise colleagues for the systems used to source and plan products.No two days are ever the same in this role as the successful candidate will be writing and delivering training as well as supporting the team with the buying systems.
What you would do:
Develop & deliver training for users of Sainsbury’s Non Food sourcing and planning systems.
Promote the best practice & standard ways of working use of Buyers Workbench & RM
Investigate & resolve users’ system queries to perform routine system administration eg maintenance of user passwords & security access
Propose system enhancements based on user feedback & perform / co-ordinate user acceptance testing for new features
Contribute subject matter expertise to cross-functional projects & new business initiatives
Perform routine system administration i.e. maintenance of user passwords & security access
How you would succeed:
Maintain training materials to meet the needs of the business
Deliver high quality training to 100% of new users within required timescales
New systems training delivered on schedule, ahead of launch, as planned
>95% of Delegate Feedback from training courses should be rated good or excellent.
Prioritise & resolve reported issues within required timescales
Thorough testing of system fixes in advance of deployment
Accurate & timely maintenance of system parameters & user logon / password details
Ideally you will have and be:
Experience of developing & delivering end-user training for systems
Ability to document issues concisely
Analytical & conceptual thinking
Detailed knowledge of Sainsbury’s Non-Food Buying processes
Detailed knowledge of MFP and IP systems, reporting tools and Merchandising processes
Excellent level MS Office suite – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Project management skills, with the ability to plan up to 12 months
Ability to engage, influence & coach colleagues, including more senior managers
The ability to work independently and as part of a broader team
Self-starter, able to plan & prioritise workload
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Demonstrates accountability for their own development
