Right now, our outstanding marketing team is on the hunt for a Senior Marketing Planner to create seasonal and category marketing strategies and plans to meet the business and customer needs.
Now, as you would expect from a business that moves at the pace Argos does, no two days tend to be the same, however some of your objectives will include:
Development of annual & quarterly strategic Marketing plans & A&P budget in conjunction with key stakeholders and aligned to the overall business and marketing strategy.
Management of the prioritisation process based on rigorous customer and commercial benefits.
Management of the macro allocation of campaign budget by channel throughout the FY.
Work with the leads on MROI and other projects (e.g. Sky IQ) to recommend media and targeting approaches.
Commission research to support the customer and category planning where appropriate.
Responsible for briefing all plans to key channels, trading and agencies ensuring all relevant stakeholders know and understand the plan and deliver on brief.
Oversee and review the plans on a frequent basis with key stakeholders and update accordingly aligning to current trading conditions and new insights and developments.
Responsible for the analysis and measurement of Category & Customer Marketing activity using both sales and customer metrics.
