We are looking for an Outbound New Business Generator to join the team. Your job will be to execute planning and delivery of a sales strategy by proactively identifying new client, channel and market sales opportunities.
Sound like your perfect role? You will acquire clients and convert to sales within specified industry sectors against an agreed sales and profit target.
What I need to do
Accountable for the achievement of a personal new business merchandise sales target (volume, product mix, margin) within specified Industry sectors to contribute to increasing sale from £27.2 million to £55.2 million over 3 years
Role will be office based with leads and opportunities being targeted by outbound calling as well as Face to Face pitches where required.
Develop and refine new business sales plans to support Argos for Business Product Development and Product Marketing
All personal decisions and planning will be based on sound commercial judgement and analysis
Be responsible for all planning to successfully deliver a robust personal growth business sales strategy to hit sales and retention targets
Lead by example, ensuring that they personally deliver business that conforms to Product Management guidelines and is fit for receipt by the Implementation team
Successfully influence, engage and gain the support of key stakeholders and enablers internally and with clients
Deliver a highly professional public face of Sainsbury’s Argos B2B market
Ensure that Marketing provide continuous reliable data source for outboarding in specified industry sectors
What I need to know
Ability to build trusted relationships though confidence, trust, and experience
Strong commercial awareness and previous sales experience, preferably within a Retail B2B environment
Proven track record of delivering results to targets as an individual and within a team
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving dynamic retail environment
Confidence to influence and engage at all levels
Effective communicator, presenter, and team player
Industry, Product, market and consumer knowledge
