Central Operations Planner

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Central Operations Planner to join our team at our office in Milton Keynes, reporting into the Central Operational Manager.

You will be the key link between supply teams and operation in terms of intake planning and transfer movements between the 2 man sites. Building operational planning document on a weekly basis, prioritising areas based on sales, availability, promotional activity and business focus. You will work alongside a 2 Man Planning Manager to accurately plan despatch and throughput for short term operational resource planning. Liaise with bookings team daily to manage team booking targets, WIP and overall targets as well as maintaining data to ensure key systems perform accurately.

You will collate inbound performance data to build a picture of supplier performance, support new initiatives and manage customer impacts through every process. The role will also have elements of DI container planning as well as Transfer management.

What we are looking for

Advanced knowledge of MS excel and access
Experience in logistics or throughput planning
Operational or planning background
Home delivery or retail experience desirable
Analytical and detail focused
Self motivated and responsible
Track record of dealing well with change and process improvement desirable.
