Right now, our award-winning marketing team is on the hunt for a Senior Campaign & Promotions Manager to develop and deliver a multi-channel marketing plan.
Now, we don’t expect you to do this by yourself. You’ll lead and inspire a small team to design campaign & promotional event briefs to work harmoniously with the digital, point of sale, advertising and publications teams. Some of your key responsibilities will include.
Contribute to the development of the annual promotional marketing plan working closely with the Controller and the Category and Customer Planning team
Development of a quarterly multi-channel promotional and campaign marketing plan that encompasses category and customer priorities and covers all channels.
Overall responsibility for the ownership of the plan and planning processes including proposition development for a specific quarterly time frame (either Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter)
Developing relevant ‘event’ briefs aligned to customer and commercial objectives taking direction from the Customer Planning Team for the quarter and working along side the event agency/eCommerce marketing team and Marketing Communications team to ensure strong delivery to the brief – ensuring that the briefs encompass the key customer and category planning objectives
Structuring a promotional plan that strikes the most appropriate balance between categories in relevant channels and working with trading stakeholders to do this
Structuring a quarterly promotional plan that strikes the most appropriate balance across all communication channels – online and offline making full use of our online strengths, appropriate use of above the line media routes as well as traditional paper based routes and store channels
Recommending split of channels and A&P spend to support plan objectives
Working with the Marketing Communications Team and the eCommerce site trading and digital teams to ensure effective media planning and execution/implementation of the quarterly plan/events
To provide strategic inputs regarding the contribution of the quarterly promotions plan to deliver like for like sales growth – identifying any variances to budget
Work with the Controller to drive promotional effectiveness – this covers areas such as MORI and promotional mechanics etc
