We have an exciting opportunity for a Cash Forecasting and Reporting Analyst to join the Sainsbury’s Argos Finance Team. As a Cash Forecasting and Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for co-ordinating, analysing and validating the corporate view of our Balance Sheet, Statutory cashflow and Direct cash position. Planning and supervising of the cash forecasting cycle, management reporting and analysis.
So, what will I be doing as a Cash Forecasting and Reporting Analyst?
Maintain and continue to improve the way in which the Sainsbury’s Argos business understands, forecasts & analyses the Balance sheet and Cashflow statement
Working closely with the Cash Forecasting and Reporting Assistant Analyst and Cash Forecasting and Reporting Associate to ensure the statutory cashflow story is aligned to the information provided in the weekly cashflow reports
Delivering key financial planning cycles for the balance sheet and cashflow including budget, forecast and strategic plan
Co-ordinate, analyse and validate the Corporate view of our Balance Sheet Statutory cashflow and Direct cash position
Responsible for Statutory Cashflow forecasting and reporting, and working closely with the E and F grades in the team ensuring a robust process is adhered to.
What do I need to know?
Graduate Calibre, qualified accountant – minimum 1 year PQE
Commercial experience, where relevant, is required (being able to understand the implications on the business of its cashflow)
Must be a self-starter with the initiative and drive to take cashflow forward and to pre-empt questions or flag risks / opportunities

Experience in the preparation of presentations would be an advantage
