As Channel Manager you will drive significant growth and customer-delighting improvement across all digital channels – website, apps, aligning with in store and telephony channels – across all Argos Financial Services products and will shape the channel strategy. You will maximise customer experience for everything relating to the AFS range of products, which covers Credit and Care / Insurance and extends to third party products such as Pet & Travel Insurance and Credit Cards.
As Channel Manager you will;
Develop and own business cases to drive channel improvements and changes.
Translate commercial business objectives into clear channel experiences and plan for how those interactions work with all other channels.
Work closely with the AFS teams, Argos Digital Product Owners and IT functions to ensure robust prioritisation and clarity of requirements, translated into suitable customer stories.
Prioritise channel investments.
Balance short term, tactical change and improvement against longer term strategic development of your channel.
Own the testing agenda within the defined channel, considering multivariate, A/B and usability testing.
Conduct ongoing research and analysis to understand customer needs.
Develop competitive analysis and benchmarking for the defined channel.
Partner with cross business teams to successfully implement solutions, ensuring channels as developed meet the needs of the business and you will measure the impact of those investments.
Maintain an external viewpoint to ensure awareness of market, industry and technology developments and trends that our customers are aware of and interacting with.
Consider how new solutions can benefit our strategy and directly support our customers in their interactions with us.
As Channel Manager you will have;
Experience of digital product management / ownership or channel management / development in a fast paced commercial business environment.
Experience of implementing change to complex systems and channels.
Experience of creating commercial business cases to support delivery of change.
The ability to create and develop new, innovative ideas to drive commercial and customer value.
The ability to work collaboratively across teams and business areas, to deliver change and suitable digital / channel solutions and building strong, effective working relationships.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
