Retail Reporting Manager
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Retail Reporting Manager to join the Retail Operations Team based out of the Argos head office in Milton Keynes (MK9 2NW).
Retail Reporting Manager – the role
Reporting into the Retail Analysis Manager and leading the 2 Analysts the main purpose of the role is to ensure Business Intelligence capabilities (reports, dashboards, self-service BI) provided to field leadership team, stores and central operations (3500+ people) are delivered on time and are insightful, actionable, will drive business benefits which can be understood by a diverse population.
You will work with business users to understand data and reporting needs to design better reports / dashboards as well as looking for reporting improvement opportunities.
You will communicate key learnings from reporting and analytics to the retail senior leadership team on a weekly basis to ensure they have all the information to make informed strategic decisions.
As and when required, to interpret and structure ad-hoc requests within deadlines pertaining to retail operations and present back to senior management. Investigate the need to operationalise such ad-hoc investigations into regular reports
Retail Reporting Manager – about you;
You will be a graduate in a numerate/statistical discipline and have experience in industry BI toolsets (MSSQL, Oracle, SSRS, SSIS, PowerBI, Excel).
You will have retail experience is essential to understand retail processes to allow insightful reporting and analytics which drives real operational change.
Other skills / qualities include;
You must be highly analytical / numerical
Change Management experience (stakeholder management, requirements gathering, understanding and managing business impact, communication and training)
Presentation and facilitation skills. Able to communicate key outcomes to senior stakeholders
Data visualisation (effective reports and dashboard design)
Problem solving skills
Work quickly and accurately under pressure
Eager to learn, develop and progress
Flexible and able to take other management roles within the Analysis team if needed
