Right now, our award-winning digital marketing team is on the hunt for a Senior Digital Planning Manager to establish a digital first approach to campaigns, promotional & non-promotional events.
As you would expect of a retail business the size of Argos, there's a frantic pace that comes with the territory. So whilst no 2 days are the same in the life of our Senior Digital Planning Managers, some of your day to day tasks will focus on
Create an annual digital campaign plan, in conjunction with marketing teams and other teams in the digital trading function.
Build robust processes for event planning and execution that are aligned with other cross functional teams.
Ensure the digital campaign plan will achieve the required results and deliver best in class executions.
Ensure a consistent approach to campaign planning along with consistent interaction with other key stakeholders around the business.
Work closely with the other planning managers to ensure any event/campaign activities are included within the overall department plan, and will not negatively impact the rest of the digital trading function.
Play an active role in business and development communications across the wider team.
Lead, coach & develop the team ensuring they understand the overall digital strategy along with their part in achieving the strategy.
Ensure appropriate training needs are identified to support the development of team individuals and processes.
Recruit and retain a highly skilled team. Ensure an appropriate ‘pipe line’ of talent and succession plan is established.
Be a visible leader across the wider Digital trading function.
We are looking for marketeers with a genuine passion for digital who have held a similar role, perhaps as an E-Commerce Manager or a similar digital trading role in the past.
