Campaign Manager

As the Campaign Manager, you will develop a commercial advantage for Argos Financial Services through the proactive acquisition and retention of an engaged store card base. You will be commercially responsible for the marketing activity to the base, across both digital and traditional channels, and for the development of new campaigns in relation to Sainsbury’s Argos retail sales.

As the Campaign Manager, you will:

Ensure all growth campaigns are effectively produced and measured across all digital and traditional channels. These marketing outputs are highly complex in nature (through behaviourally triggered comms to micro-segments), and you will need to liaise closely with retail trading teams.
Deliver detailed analytics and recommendations to the Head of Direct Marketing via reporting lines and governed forums in support of driving incremental retail sales, AFS value and profit on the card.
Have responsibility for growth of marketing KPIs (such as response and incremental sales) through digital and traditional channels.
Support in developing and maintaining a measurable marketing retention customer journey.
Own the growth campaign outputs through detailed knowledge of AFS product development as well as Argos marketing and trading calendars. Also, own the day-to-day marketing relationship with the retail trading and commercial teams in relation to growth activity.

Actively engage with leaders across the retail teams to understand business priorities and growth roadmaps.
Apply the risk framework across the FS CRM Team ensuring risks are mitigated, monitored and controlled. You will ensure that all direct reports are aware of the framework and demonstrate this by their day to day application and approach to risk. You will also support the FS CRM Manager in owning elements of the direct marketing risk register.

Support in the development of the company culture and demonstrate that customers are at the heart of the FS business.

As the Campaign Manager, you will have:

At least two years’ experience of campaign planning and deployment.
Financial Services marketing experience including an FCA or regulated environment.
Detailed knowledge of direct mail, email, app and web page deployment processes.
Experience of working with customer segmentation and propensity models.
Knowledge of big data usage and micro segmentation.
Experience of campaign MI gathering and interpretation across multiple marketing channels.
An understanding of digital commercial drivers and ROI measurement.
Outstanding creative and evaluation skills.
A proven ability to work under tight deadlines and provide results to multiple stakeholders, whilst managing stakeholders across a range of roles and levels.
A good level of commercial acumen.

In addition to the above, it would also be advantageous if you have experience of line management, copy writing, budget management in order to influence business decisions, CMS platforms and digital broadcast solutions. You should be willing and able to travel in pursuit of industry best practice, educated to a degree level and it would be desirable if you were CIM or IDM qualified.
