Argos has been through a lot of change over the years, and as a Business Change Project Manager, you will help us to keep changing and growing. Based at our Call Management Centre in Widnes, you will ensure that projects are delivered to the highest of standards so that we remain at the top of our game.
As a Project Manager, you will:
Work within a team focused on business change, technical projects and continuous improvement related activity
Work flexibly across all project elements that may include undertaking some small pieces of business analysis, producing business cases, project delivery but also post project embedding activity etc
Have responsibility for the development of change implementation plans where key elements of training, communication, business acceptance testing, and other business readiness elements are included
Have significant responsibility for stakeholder management including engaging with key parties up front (relevant contacts across CMC up to and including the CMC executive leadership team)
Responsible for managing the change activities or outputs meaning the relevant areas are informed / involved/ consulted as required throughout the design, delivery and embedding period.
Be responsible for liaising with other members of the team to understand other change activity taking place at the same time (has an overall view of change and can manage their deliverables in the most appropriate way).
Undertake operational readiness and acceptance – ensuring that any change delivered has a final sign off/ handover piece
Skills, Knowledge & Experience for the Project Manager Role:
Has experience as a Business Change Project Manager and is able to ensure operation efficiency.
Relevant project or programme qualification (for example Prince2)
Has delivered a diverse range of project activity (could include technical and business projects or continuous improvement initiatives)
Ability to work flexibly across all project elements (This may include for example, undertaking some small pieces of business analysis, producing business cases, project delivery but also post project embedding activity etc).
Experience of delivering and embedding significant change projects
Significant stakeholder management experience
Has worked across contact centres and understands associated challenges
Retail brand experience is desirable, but not essential.
