As Senior Credit Risk Analyst you will support the ARG FS store card business within the area of credit strategy. Assisting in the monitoring, evaluating, communicating and reporting on all aspects of the credit strategies and scorecard/decision systems associated with this discipline.

As the Senior Credit Risk Analyst you will:
Facilitate the development, production, evaluation and monitoring of the relevant strategies and scorecard/decision systems.
Ensure the accuracy of reports through appropriate checking and validation.
Initiate the development and maintenance of reporting using appropriate tools.
Analyse and interpret complex data and information in line with business requirements.
Continually identify areas for business improvement and make recommendations for their implementation.
Administer and undertake the implementation and testing of new strategies/scorecard/decision systems.
Assists in the upkeep of documentation of the relevant strategies and scorecard/decision systems.
Facilitate effective communication within/between own team and other functions.
Acts as coach/mentor to team members.
As the Senior Credit Risk Analyst you will have:
Previous credit risk experience (preferably within a retail or credit card organisation)
Financial services experience within an FCA or alternatively regulated environment
Proven experience of SAS / SQL / SPSS Programming skills
Proficient in Excel
Ability to coach / mentor more junior members of the team
Experience of involvement in IT projects.
A good commercial awareness
A good communicator
Excellent planning and organisational skills, with an ability to balance a large range of priorities
Ability to access information from a variety of sources and accurately interpret results of reports produced, making recommendations for change.
Ability to work on own initiative
