We are looking for a Trainer to join Financial Services, based in Widnes, for a fixed term of 12 months. The successful candidate will fulfil all aspects of the training cycle including identifying, designing, delivering and evaluating training for the regulated and non-regulated areas of Financial Services Contact Centre Operations and outsourcer(s).

You will also have responsibility for regulated training; this role focuses on continual professional development ensuring that you and all employees working on regulated products within Financial Services reach and maintain the standards set by the business and the FCA.
You’ll be required to:
Research, plan, design and deliver training to meet the requirements of the FCA Training and Competence Scheme. (T&C)
Work with the relevant stakeholders to identify training needs and agree training objectives and design training solutions.
Monitor, assess, and provide feedback and coaching ensuring employees understand when and how competence can be, and, has been reached and promote a culture of personal development that empowers people to take responsibility and propose practical solutions.
Produce appropriate records detailing training objectives, assessment of competence, and supervision of employees after every training event, carrying out regular monitoring and assessments to ensure it is meeting its objectives and quality assurance standards.
Develop & maintain knowledge and understanding of FS policy, processes, procedures and technologies whilst developing & maintaining knowledge and understanding of current and new training methodologies.
Develop & maintain own Training and Competence planner to evidence own competence around all relevant regulation and associated business policies & procedures and facilitate train the trainer sessions for colleagues who also deliver FS training solutions, to the required standard, sharing best practice, and evidencing competence on a personal T&C planner.
You will have a strong background in training, ideally with:
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills and be experienced in designing Trainer led modules and modules for e-learning and it would be desirable if you hold CIPD / CTP Qualification
Knowledge of training cycles
Good understanding of a Financial Services business and FCA Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC) and the Disputes Resolution: Complaints section of the FCA Handbook (DISP) with the ability to interpret regulatory guidelines correctly
Inherent critical and analytical thinker attributes who is both creative and innovative
Experience as a trainer / coach and knowledge and understanding of learning styles with the capacity to challenge and be challenged.
