Bradwell Media Operations Manager

We have an exceptional and rare opportunity for a Studio Operations Manager to lead the day to day management of Bradwell Media, our photographic and video studio.

Bradwell Media is currently the biggest in-house studio in the UK and in the top 5 in Europe, producing around 50,000 photos and 5,000 videos each year for Argos and Habitat as well as a number of brand directly.

Photographic Studio Production: one of the largest photographic studios in the UK, 40k sq. ft., and 50k shots pa. This role will lead the Studio management team (Production Manager & Creative Team Manager) to ensure robust project planning, scheduling, workflow and resources are in place to deliver projects in the most cost effective manner. Overseeing the production of multiple image types – Fast Paced cuts out, Lifestyle sets within studio, 360-degree photography, large locations shoots (UK & abroad), model and Jewellery photography.

Video Studio: our Video studio creates C.5000+ videos pa. This role will be leading and supporting the Creative Team Manager, ensuring the continual development of the video strategy aligned to the digital content strategy. Supporting the Video Production Manager to ensure robust project planning, scheduling, workflow and resources are in place to deliver projects in the most cost effective manner. Overseeing the production of multiple video types for multiple channels – Product Feature Videos, Buying Guides, Trends videos, Social Unboxing video, Pre-rolls, Stop Motion, animations & graphics, presenter lead videos, TV advertising and more.

We are looking for an exceptional leader, who can manage and engage a diverse team to deliver world class content and support our digital strategy. You will influence key stakeholders on the benefits of using the in-house studio from a quality, creative and cost perspective.

This role operates largely autonomously from the main Sainsbury’s Argos Head Office and therefore requires a hands-on leader able to make quality decisions in a fast-paced environment.
