Communications Co-ordinator within Financial Services
An opportunity has arisen to join our Communications team, initially on a six month basis. As Communications Co-ordinator, you will support the creation and delivery of internal communications to inform and engage colleagues across Argos Financial Services.
You will be joining Argos Financial Services, where our mission is to make Argos products more affordable for our customers. We help people afford and protect what matters most through products and services such as credit, warranties and insurance. It's an exciting time for our business as we recently became part of Sainsbury's Bank and we're now on a journey of rapid growth and change over the next few years.
Manage and continuously improve our core communication channels and deliver tailored communications to key audiences
Act as the custodian of our brand, developing our online brand suite and helping our colleagues to stay on-brand
Moderate the FS Yammer group and deliver campaigns and training to encourage maximum use of this channel
Act as the custodian of the AFS brand, developing our online brand suite and ensuring colleagues comply with brand guidelines
Deliver and manage engaging and eye-catching content for digital screens
Support the creation and management of an image bank and the creation of impactful films to support communications campaigns
Manage distribution lists to ensure communications reach the right audiences
Manage our communications and engagement activity calendar and publicise activities to ensure maximum support from colleagues
Identify methods to measure communications effectiveness and monitor KPIs
Support the delivery of leadership and engagement events, including CSR activities
Support the promotion of our FS All Stars recognition scheme and deliver our annual recognition event
Work closely with key stakeholder groups (such as communications teams) from across the wider Sainsbury's Group to coordinate communications activities and share best practice.
Ideally you will be/have:
Education to Degree standard or equivalent
Broad knowledge and experience of designing and delivering best practice internal communications
Great communications skills, particularly a flair for writing engaging communications
Highly organised, with ability to work independently and plan own workload effectively
Ability to deliver at pace, using own initiative and managing stakeholders effectively to meet tight deadlines
Confident and comfortable with liaising with stakeholders at all levels
Good understanding of the needs of different audiences and ability to adapt style accordingly
Strong creativity with demonstrable design skills and a good eye for detail - experience of using Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software would be an advantage
High energy and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
