CRM Campaign Manager

We are looking for an experienced Marketer to join our fantastic digital marketing team as a CRM Campaign Manager for 12 months. Working on the largest email programme in the UK, you will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing a programme of online CRM marketing activity in order to maximise customer online purchasing frequency and spend.

You will lead a small team and work closely with creative teams to deliver our emailed promotions to our customers in an engaging way. Working in a fast paced retail environment you will use data to inform your decisions and use your positivity to motivate a team and drive change where needed. This is a team with big ambition, the scale is huge but don’t underestimate the personal impact you can make and the freedom you will have to try new ways of engaging with our customers.

As a CRM Campaign Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

Have a broad understanding of CRM and an ability to interpret these opportunities to formulate an effective CRM strategy.
Help support the strategy and promotional plan for driving both incremental sales, as well as encouraging long term loyalty. Analysis of results and clear segmentation of the most profitable customer types is required to optimise return generated by this activity.
Be creative and devise interesting ways of appealing to customers and establishing competitor advantage.
Establish new processes, often involving Ops & Development and Trading teams.
Full proposals to be put forward and initiatives driven through to ensure that systems are established and robust.
Ensuring that the CRM budget is spent as effectively as possible to achieve maximum ROI.
In order to ensure sufficient consideration for the online channel within Argos' marketing plans, you must be able to influence relevant contacts within the marketing department and put forward a persuasive case to achieve this goal.

As a CRM Campaign Manager your skills & qualifications will ideally include:

A good understanding of CRM and measures of online success. Experience of CRM is essential.
Proven experience of managing a team and working with agencies with excellent communications skills.
A good level of creativity, initiative, relationship building and influencing skills
Strong analytical skills with understanding and use of web analytics tools
Awareness and knowledge of other digital marketing channels.
