Lead Merchandiser - Jewellery & Watches

Being passionate about making a difference through end-to-end profitability and managing a team to deliver is key to this role. This is the first step into management within the Supply team and offers great career progression opportunities. Your role will be to work with and support other cross-functional business initiatives that impact on flow and intake planning and to ensure that the appropriate information flows between Central Distribution, Supply and Retail Ops.

We are looking for someone who is able to work at pace and multi task. You will have had previous experience in some of the following areas: Merchandise/Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations. Strong commerciality and influencing skills as well as planning and organisation skills are a must. The ability to communicate at all levels of the business internally and externally is vital in this role.

As a Lead Merchandiser your key responsibilities will be:

To produce the short term forecasting and planning activity, ensuring operational plans and key activity schedules are developed and communicated throughout the business
To ensure day to day operational capability of the team completing all required tasks
To work within budgeted company operational plan
To deliver relevant supply & customer metrics for the company
To work with and support other cross-functional business initiatives that impact on flow and intake planning and to ensure that the appropriate information flows between Central Distribution, Supply and Retail Ops
To ensure Central Distribution has the background information and data that impacts on overall business activities.

Your skills and experience will include:

Good influencing skills at peer group level
A good level of experience in some of the following: Merchandise / Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations
Good levels of planning skills
Developing commercial skills set
Good knowledge of WH / Store Replenishment and / or Direct to Customer fulfilment.
Excellent knowledge of up to 3 replenishment systems.
