This role would suit a candidate with a real passion for storytelling and an interest in producing high volumes of video without compromising on quality.
As a Self Shooter working within our Bradwell Media Centre you will have responsibility for shooting and editing commercially strong video content in high volumes, whilst still maintaining quality and working within the brand/style guidelines. This role will be expected to plan, prep, light, shoot/edit between 1 – 5 videos a day on their own.
Bradwell Media Centre
Bradwell Media based in Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes is the biggest in-house studio in the UK, producing around 50,000 photos and 2,000 videos each year for Argos and Habitat.
You will be:
Shooting and editing product videos to the highest standard to sit across multiple platforms and ensure personal and team KPI’s are met.
Working closely with the Creative Producers, Stylist and wider team to demonstrate strong storytelling skills.
Continually research our market and competitors, focussing on creativity and pushing boundaries where relevant to inspire our customers/clients and exceed their expectations.
Work closely with the internal production teams and wider Bradwell teams, contributing to a positive and professional team ethos.
Your Talent Showcase:
You will be an experienced self shooter highly skilled in video production and taking a project from start to finish, whether small or large scale productions. Key skills to include:
Experience working in video production and taking a project from start to finish, whether they are small or large scale productions
Experience and examples of creating video content for Retail or Sales
Must understand industry standard processes and tools including video file formats and file delivery systems
Experience in shooting with HD video cameras, ability to light sets and talent to a high standard and edit in Premiere & After Effects
Passion for video and the desire to move an exciting and busy department forward
You will be keen to showcase your exceptional portfolio of work and demonstrate your technical knowledge of video file formats and file delivery systems.
