The team administrator will provide a comprehensive administration service to support the IT Department by working closely with each member of the Heads of department and PA team to ensure the effective and smooth running of daily activities within IT.

You will be expected to cope with a high and diverse workload, to prioritise effectively and to control and monitor all work through to its natural conclusion. They will be required to maintain a high level of confidentiality. They will be required to forward think, use his/her initiative and be aware of the implications of instructions given. Key is to be creative and articulate in the presentation of all work prepared.

What you will be doing:

Help plan and coordinate any team/department events. This could include finding and securing venues, invitations and liaising with relevant departments (HR and Health & Safety)
Effectively manage and control diaries to include the co-ordination and scheduling of meetings, both internal and external
Coordinate departmental meeting and any other team forums required
Maintain team stationery, including regular stock control and ordering relevant supplies.
Work closely with HR to assist with any departmental requirements ie: New Graduates, Calibrations etc

Skills & Requirements

Significant work experience in an administrative role

Extensive knowledge of Office packages i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Outstanding attention to detail
Impactful and strong influencing skills
Takes personal accountability and a strong team player
