Customer Agent – the role
Working within our Customer Management Centre in Stafford you will be the first point of contact for our customers via phone, email and Live Chat. Whether it be placing an order, chasing a delivery or assisting colleagues with enquiries you will deal with all queries in an efficient and positive manner ensuring every customer receives the highest level of customer service at all times.
This role is for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be working 30 hours per week on a variety of shift patterns which will include some weekend working.
Our Customer Management Centre is based in Acton Gate, Stafford (ST18 9AR) just off junction 13 on the M6 motorway with hourly bus service which passes the railway station.
Customer Agent – the person
Previous experience within a customer service environment is beneficial but not essential. You will be customer focussed and friendly, enabling you to provide an easy, low effort experience for our customers. You will engage and build rapport quickly by listening to and understanding customer needs, recognising appropriate opportunities to add value to the customer experience. You will have a positive change mind-set, seeing change as a positive way to move things forward. Taking personal responsibility for your own development, you will be enthusiastic about learning new skills and have the drive to improve your own performance. You will contribute to positive team spirit, listening to and supporting your colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practice.
