As MI & Reporting Manger you will have responsibility for the creation and automation of Credit Risk Collections & Recoveries MI including reporting, forecasting and portfolio analysis.
The role ensures that the Credit Risk function can appropriately oversee and manage the Collections and Recoveries portfolio focusing on reducing bad debt losses and maximising recovery for Argos Financial Services.
As MI & Reporting Manager you will;
Develop and maintain Credit Risk Collections & Recoveries MI, reporting, data warehouse (SQL server), delinquency and bad debt intra month forecasting model.
Manage the full end to end documentation and control creation of all Credit Risk data processes, reporting and data management.
Carry out portfolio analysis of Customers in Collections & Recoveries to support development of improved customer strategies and treatments.
Optimise existing processes, reports and code (using SQL, VBA, SSRS). This includes the training and development of the credit risk team in SQL, VBA and Excel.
As MI & Reporting Manager you will have;
Experience of Collections or Recoveries reporting within a Credit Risk Function.
Current and advanced user knowledge of Excel, SQL and VBA including data manipulation techniques is critical. SSRS or related automation technics would be a desirable attribute.
The ability to write complex code/scripts from scratch for MI. This role requires you to hit the ground running and you need to be comfortable using SQL and VBA on a daily basis, as training cannot be provided on this.
Communication skills to effectively explain technical solutions and difficult analysis to non-technical people and stakeholders at all levels, and the ability to capture end user requirements and present data and MI in useable and easily understood formats.
The ability to seek and interpret data and metrics from a variety of sources to identify key issues. Prepare and deliver less straightforward information using appropriate tools ensuring the messages are understood.
Skills to plan multiple data selections, analysis and reporting schedules to achieve objectives across a wide range of products and third parties with differing deadlines and be able to communicate plans effectively.
The ability to understand the structure and concepts involved in Data Warehousing such as ETL processes and data cleaning.
An understanding of a regulatory environment.
Financial Services & FCA regulated organisation experience would be preferable but not essential.
