As Marketing Finance Assistant Analyst, you will support the Marketing and Trading functions on promotional and own brand performance by providing insightful and timely data and analysis. The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant who is looking to build experience within a commercial environment. You must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of working within a similar role and possess highly effective communication skills. We will provide full study support to allow you to continue your professional accountancy qualification and offer learning and development opportunities as you progress within company.
As a Assistant Marketing Finance Analyst your main duties will include:
Provide support to the marketing teams with all aspects of promotional and own brand performance.
Complete weekly brand, own brand and/or promotions numbers on a timely basis for Monday trading meetings and attend Monday pre-trading meeting with the Own Brand / Promotions team to add insight into current performance.
Link with the marketing and trading teams to analyse TV tactical performance.
To pProvide data and build packs relating to past promotional performance providing insightful information.
Provide all city announcement information from a marketing point of view.
Compile all data required for the own brand steering group meetings.
Provide support to the own brand team regarding data and analysis.
Financially model new initiatives, and have input into the decision making process for both promotions and own brand.
As a Assistant Marketing Finance Analyst your skills & experience will include:
Graduate calibre part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Well rounded management accounting skills with desire to develop commercial/analytical ability.
Prior experience working in a large company environment, preferably retail would be desirable.
Well-developed inter-personal skills and confident in influencing stakeholders.
Possess good systems skills in Excel & Access.
Able to plan, organise and prioritise well, given the variety of, and sometimes conflicting workload.
Be self-motivated to work at pace and think independently.
