As a QA Engineer, you will assist in aspects of test design to ensure the solutions delivered provide maximum operational benefit, a positive customer experience, and are practical and effective for the business and customer. You will work as part of an agile team in order to contribute towards the achievement of a quality customer experience. This will include effective and appropriate planning, development and execution of automated tests for software components and systems.
What you’ll be doing
Demonstrate application of testing concepts and principles.
Ensure Non Functional Requirements such as quality standards, stability, scalability, reliability, are met.
Identify and allocate defects within software components, in both web and mobile environments.
Define, implement and execute automated tests.
Perform basic triage to aid in appropriate classification and allocation of defects.
Implement quality tests of moderate complexity within a functional area given clear requirements.
Implement and code tests of moderate complexity.
Participate in and contribute to your functional Scrum team.
Participate in and contribute to the Argos Digital QA community.
Train new junior team members on specific activities.
Ensuring your team’s work is of the highest quality.
What we’d like you to have
An understanding, and experience using, digital channels including ecommerce, mcommerce and mobile applications
An understanding of the importance of user testing within the Agile development lifecycle.
Knowledge and practical experience working with automated testing tools such as QTP and Selenium
Experience testing APIs
