As a Strategic Project Manager working to support the delivery of cross-functional projects, you will be joining the business at a very significant and exciting time of development.
As part of the Digital Programme Team, you will be working as part of the Digital Programme Office to support the delivery of key, cross functional projects. This role offers broad visibility across the business and the opportunity to make significant impact across multiple areas. You will be leading high profile projects and challenging the business to make customer focused, data driven decisions. You should therefore have the ability to hold your own and influence stakeholder groups in order to pull various ideas together effectively. This role would be expected to take on all types of projects, that all feed into the overall digital roadmap of Argos.
This is a high profile role as you will work closely in collaboration with broader stakeholder groups that may or may not be under one direct team. If you are an individual focused on delivery and execution of strategic plans as well as a confident communicator with strong relationship building skills, this would be a great role to showcase these talents.
You can choose whether to be based in either London or Milton Keynes, and you will also have the opportunity to work from home.

Translate strategy and ideas into tangible plans.
Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand problem areas.
Deliver end to end digital projects.
Ensure projects remain aligned to agreed commercial objectives and principles.
Act as a point of contact for stakeholders across the business.
Conduct information gathering and research to understand the as-is landscape in the business and unearth any existing activities which need to be taken into account to ensure a joined-up approach.
Define necessary steps for the project to be advanced and look for solutions to key progress blockers.
Your skills and experience:
Experience managing projects to meet milestones and targets whilst engaging a wide variety of stakeholders.
Analytical skillset and strong attention to detail.
Experience in putting the customer first in all business decisions.
Experience working cross functionally within a digital environment.
Strong project and time management skills with a key focus on delivery.
Comfortable working within an environment of ambiguity with a high degree of complexity.
Assertive, challenging and confident with strong interpersonal skills and experience managing effective stakeholder relationships.
