As Commercial Supply Finance Analyst, you will prepare and deliver period end reporting and financial Budgets and Forecasts, giving insight of key drivers, and managing inherent risks and opportunities.
You will provide commercial and analytical support to the Operational and Gross Margin teams as well as being accountable to develop reporting and provide insightful analysis that helps to drive increased recovery of returned stock.
As a Commercial Supply Finance Analyst your main responsibilities include:
Prepare and complete period end reporting, including presentation packs and insightful analytical commentary on variances for Senior Management (Finance and Operations).
Prepare and deliver Budgets and Forecasts for all areas of returns, working closely with the Operational teams, and Gross Margin Finance team to understand their planning assumptions and ensure they link with the corporate view.
To be responsible for ensuring that the required audit and quarterly Q&A information is prepared accurately and timely, to meet deadlines and the City announcements.
Drive new initiatives to improve the efficiency of returned stock, looking at ways to reduce stock and costs, and highlight risks and opportunities.
To provide all ad hoc financial support as required.
As a Commercial Supply Finance Analyst your skills & experience will include:
Graduate calibre qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Prior experience working in a large company environment, preferably retail would be desirable.
Well-developed inter-personal skills and confident in influencing senior managers.
Strong excel, access and Business Objects skills and ability to work with large volumes of data
Able to plan, organise and prioritise well, given the variety of, and sometimes conflicting workload.
Be self-motivated to work at pace and think independently.
