Our Merchandise Data Support team are looking for a Systems Controller to provide a comprehensive systems service to the Commercial Trading Division. This vital role ensures that the information requirements of both the division and the company are administered accurately and efficiently, within a secure and legally responsible environment.

What I need to do:
To contribute where required to the investigation and evaluation of new and current systems and procedures to include design, testing and implementation ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness and removing unnecessary complexities and duplication
To ensure that the data entered and maintained in our corporate systems is accurate and available on time
To ensure that all tasks have documented process and they are adhered to by the teams
To set, monitor and review all targets set, ensuring that each of the relevant business areas who require the data are involved and consulted at all times
To maintain the Merchandise Database Department Disaster Recovery manuals
Review of process to ensure continued improvements to processes and system requirements which will add value to the business by requesting feedback and producing Business Cases from this.
Management of the Merchandise Data Support Team members, to include performance reviews, daily workloads, long term plans for structure and processes, to ensure that a high level of service is consistently provided to the Business

Ability to learn new systems and challenge processes that underpin them
Able to use own initiative to resolve a wide variety of different issues
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Microsoft Office experience essential
Resilient and positive approach to change
Strong attention to detail
Ideally 2 years’ experience in a Retail Administration Management position with management experience and customer facing processes, in particular pricing strategies and application
