You will be responsible for copywriting Habitat product description to enhance our design credentials and maintain our tone of voice. This role will bring to life the brand personality and key differentiators through creating interesting product content.
The Editorial and Content Executive will work closely with the Editorial and Content Manager to produce editorial and campaign content. With strong awareness of the online marketplace, you will have experience of writing for a fast pace online retailer. You will be a great influencer and communicator and passionate about creating product and editorial content.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Work closely with the buying team to write accurate, engaging product content to meet commercial requirements
Consider SEO best-practice and brand positioning to delivering distinctive, informative product copy
Implement product content change requests and support resolving product content issues on the website
Contribute to the development of the online content strategy, online campaigns, competitions, influencer pieces and product category pages
Work closely with the editorial and content manager to write editorial content to deliver the content strategy
Your skills and qualifications will include:
Proven copywriting experience
Demonstrable experience with a content management system
Previous experience working for an online retailer or a relevant retailer with online presence
Experience of content production and operational experience in publish content online
Knowledge of SEO and online marketing techniques
Strong organisational skills
